Child care volunteer program design to help needy children living in children’s home. Our Child care center in Nepal has facilities such as a football pitches or basketball courts, so they are great for those who are keen to get involved with sports. Previous volunteers working in orphanages have also spent some time helping with conversational English classes at the schools the children attend. You do not need to have any sort of qualification to get involved in teaching; just a good level of spoken English. Volunteers for the hospital and rehabilitation center for disabled children work with children who have physical disabilities. In order to receive corrective surgery, children have to spend extensive periods at the center, away from their homes and family.
Volunteers for a child care project in Nepal is a chance to make a real difference to these children, not merely through the development of their social and life-skills, but also through exposing them to new ideas and cultures. Your assistance will also support the dedicated, but overstretched, staff who will always appreciate having you there to help. Child care project is available from two weeks to more. Child care project has been selected by our local colleagues as being suitable for short term volunteering for both the host community and the volunteer. You got the opportunity to help needy children living in children’s home. Children who have lost their parents, children who have been abused by their parents and children whose parents are unable to provide them their basic needs. These kids need love, attention, life skills and education so they can have successful futures free from poverty and filled with the same opportunities as others.
Let’s help and volunteer for children safeguarding. It is not necessary any specific qualification for orphanage project in Nepal. However, volunteer interested to work for orphans kids must have love for the kids and willingness to share time and passion for them. Available Duration: 2weeks  to 12 weeks
Experience Required: It is not necessary any specific skills and qualification for Child care volunteer program. Upon your arrival you will receive relevant training towards the Child care volunteer projects. If you are flexible and patient, you’ll cope better during the Child care volunteer project and successfully complete your project as working conditions. For Child care volunteer project volunteer may need physical efforts, so you should be in good health. We just ask our volunteers to be flexible, enthusiastic, be patient and an open mind. Child care volunteer program is open to worldwide participants, families, couples and individuals.
Project Location: Child care volunteer project placements available all over Nepal according to your interest. Most of the volunteer placements are located within 2-4 km. from their accommodation and volunteers use local transportation such as mini bus or taxis for their commuting.
Program start dates: Child care volunteer program starts 1st and 15th of each month, year round.

Program Requirements: Volunteers must be 16 years or older at the beginning of Child care volunteer program. Volunteers need to have an open mind and flexible attitude for working in a new and different environment. The volunteer should bring energy and enthusiasm to make a difference.
Arrangement of room/food/supervision: CSVFN will manage your accommodation, food and supervision while you work in a volunteer program. You will stay either with a host family, in a project hostel or in a home base. In the home base, you’ll share your room with other volunteers and use communal toilets. You’ll be served 3 meals a day. Meals in the home base can be local or continental. In the host family, you’ll have a room for yourself and will be served 3 local meals a day. Staying with a host family will provide you with a wonderful opportunity to experience Nepali lifestyle and live with a warm and welcoming family. You can even learn to cook Nepali food. While volunteering, our staffs will visit you every two weeks. During the visit, we will check on your progress and make sure you’re satisfied and happy.
Transportation: Volunteers are met at the Nepal international airport in Katmandu, upon arrival into Nepal. Once you are in your placement you need to work out transport for any traveling you wish to do, whether this is simply to the local shops or further a field for sightseeing. Travel will usually be by micro bus, tempo, taxi, larger buses or simply walking, several projects are just walking distance.
