Blind Empowerment volunteer program is design to empower the disabled individuals of Nepal. Most of the disabled individuals in Nepal are ignored, neglected and forced to live in dark rooms, because most of the family members of disabled individuals feel shame at having lost the prestige due to them in the community. As a result, they are dying in the same room or bed where they were born. Some of their families members may also make them beg on the streets. These people have not been able to use their rights. CSVFN offers interested volunteers from all over the world a chance to provide great support to the disabled children in Nepal. We are going to collect the data of disable and update in our site with the appeal of help them for different way. CSVFN has been closely working with care facilities in and outside Kathmandu valley that have specialized in caring for these children. Blindness is both health and social problem in Nepal. There are not any social security programs for the blind people. Blindness is seen as a completely dependent difficulty, the person is taken as a liability than some with physically challenged but equally productive being. In fact, in most part of the rural Nepal, blindness is still seen as a curse resulting from the sins of the previous life.
Disabled children in the villages can’t go to school due to inaccessible schools, lack of awareness in the parents, superstitions, poverty and so on. Education has become inaccessible to the disabled children due to the lack of proper physical structure of school surrounding, roads and transportation. Difficulties faced by the disabled in difficulties faced by them are similar to some extent inside the school due to similar structure of school. They are depraved of getting education. Your small but humanitarian deeds will help them a log. Their name, address and photo will be attached along with the disabled and helpless children profile. You can find and sponsor them differently from our website.
Disabled blind children are in unfortunate positions in life, and the impression that you leave on them will remain for the rest of their lives. This volunteer charity work is a great mission and provides a real, life-changing experience for you as well as the blind children. Some organizations serve as informal education training centers, and when you volunteer to become involved in blind empowerment program, you will be teaching these innocent children what it means to have someone who cares for them.
