Volunteering Terms and Conditions

Community service Volunteer Foundation Nepal has promulgated its terms and conditions for its entire volunteering program and any other services operated by the Project. Before completing the registration form and signing the declaration, please read these terms and conditions carefully. They set out your agreement with Community service volunteer project Nepal and contain important information. The following terms and conditions are an agreement between you and CSVFN. When you make an application for a Community service volunteer Foundation Nepal service, you are agreeing to what is stated below for Volunteering in Nepal.
You would agree to the following terms to volunteer In Nepal
01. Application fee
At the time of volunteer program booking and completing your Application form a non-refundable Application charge of US$ 50 per person is payable. The balance of the program is to be paid in full at least 30 days prior to departure.
02: Airport Receive/ Transfer
Our representative will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel/placement/home stay in the country you have chosen to volunteer program.
03: Orientation
Orientation will be provided by our staff. We cover areas like, culture, greetings, locations, transportation etc. Each participant will be provided with a local Map of the city, where possible. We will not take any responsibility if local circumstances do not allow for this to take place for any natural reasons beyond our control.
04: Lodging
Almost all placements have residential accommodation arrangements, however if that is not available volunteers will be staying with a local welcoming and educated family.
05: Food
3 local meals will be provided in projects depending on the circumstances- unless otherwise specified.
06: Travel assistance
If participants like to travel around, we provide with full support for bookings and arrangements to travel within Nepal only.
07: Staff supports
24 hours support provided by our local staff. All participants will have Mobile or Landline phone numbers of local contact person.
08: Pre-departure information
After we receive full and final payment all participants are provided by a pre-departure information booklet by e-mail which will have all vital information about your program.
09: Payment and application process
Once we receive your application along with your application payment of US$50 we will process your application soonest. We will send you a written confirmation of your application by e-mail.
10: Refund of application fee
Application fee will not be refunded under any circumstance, if the program is cancelled by the client. Application fee will only be refunded in case we are unable to provide a suitable placement to the client. We will be deducting 30% as administration charges from this refund amount.
11: Refund of program fee
A : Cancellation of volunteer program by client: Community service volunteer foundation Nepal incurs a lot of charges in order to provide placement to the client. If someone cancels the program after payment of program fee 30 days prior to departure, we would refund 70% of the program fee only. Cancellation 15 days prior to start date, the client would be refunded with 50% of the program fee only and any cancellation done with 20 days of the program start date, the client will only receive a refund of 25% of the program fee paid to us.
B : Cancellations after project start date: Under no circumstances will the program fee be refunded to the client. Application fee of US$50 will also not be refunded.
C : Cancellation by CSVFN: Incase Community service volunteer foundation Nepal has to cancel the client’s project due to certain natural and unnatural circumstances CSVFN will refund part of the remaining time period of the Program fee calculated on a pro-rata basis excluding the application fee of US$50 and 5% bank charges.
D : Payment of refunds: Community service volunteer foundation Nepal will refund the applicable refund amount to the client within 100 days of confirmation of cancellation.
12: Use of photos and feedback
By agreeing to the terms and conditions you agree that Community service orphanage volunteer charity foundation Nepal can use your photos and written feedback while at the project to post on its website http://www.volunteercharitywork.org might use such material for marketing/promotion in form of brochure/emails/ or on its website. CSVFN also uses photos and material from our partners and affiliations abroad and in Nepal and is not responsible for a claims arising towards that material/photos/content. The use of such photos and material can also be done on any other domains owned by Community service volunteer foundation Nepal.
13: Seizing the agreement CSVFN will end this agreement with you in case of following reasons
1, if we find that you are engaged in any illegal activities or convicted of any criminal activities before or during the Project Period.
2, If it is believed that any of your action or behavior is threatening or unacceptable to the society or anyone involved with the project based on the judgment of the project staff and coordinator.
3, any information provided by you to CSVFN during the time of enrollment is incorrect.
4, you voluntarily decide to opt out of the program in between.
5, if you are found taking drugs or using such material while in the project
6, If you are found to be engaged in sexual behavior while your stay in the host family.
14: Other situation
In case the agreement is terminated due to any of the above reasons or reasons relating to the above, you will not be entitled to any refund from Community service volunteer foundation Nepal. Community service volunteer in Nepal does not take any responsibility of any third party links from our site and will not be held responsible for content or service provided on those sites.
