Volunteers work in schools and monastery to teach English to Nepali students. Volunteers teach different levels of school students and help them to improving their language skills. Teaching English abroad as a volunteer will give you the opportunity to teach students who are eager to learn and improve their abilities in English. Students will also benefit from cultural exchange and different teaching techniques. CSVFN provides international teaching volunteer opportunities for short-term or longer-term. Our volunteers in teaching English projects will work in schools attended by students of poor families in rural villages. It is not necessary any professional teaching experience to gain work experience in Nepal. We always suggest you to bring some of your own resources too you can teach different subject including English, science, math, history, geography, nutrition, reading, computer skills and more.  You can teach English either according to official curriculum or using your own material or creative ideas. In some placements volunteers not only teach English but also music and dance, crafts, cooking and the concept of playing etc. Students are between 4 to 14 years old. For teaching English abroad as volunteers do not have to be native English speakers.
CSVFN provides a meaningful placement for anyone willing to volunteers to assist with teaching at preschool and primary levels, and believe that teaching skills required for volunteering for this program are a willingness to learn and an open mind. Volunteers mainly help in improving the English speaking skills of the children and also teach them in a play way method by singing songs and dancing. You would assist local teachers and staff as well, while improving their listening and speaking skills.
