Salyan District Nepal
Salyan District is a district of  Rapti Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Salyan, located in Mid Western Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 457 meters to 3049 meters from sea level and its area is 1462 square kilometers. Total population of Salyan district is 242,444 according census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 23473 hectare,  there are 47 village development committees that are Marke, Kubhindedaha, Majhkanda, Bame, Kavrechour, Kalimatikalche, Kalimati Rampur, Nigalchuli, Laxmipur, Devsthal, Dhajaripipal, Kavra, Phalawang, Dhanwang, Sarpani, Rim, Sinwang, Triveni, Chhayakshetra, Karagithi, Kirwang jhimpe, Hiwalcha, Lekhpokhara, Damachour, Pipalneta, Syanikhal, Khalangad, Sejuwal Takura, Kajari, Dandagaon, Banjhkanda, Kotmaula, Kotwara, wafukhola, Tharmare, Shivarath, Dhakadam, Darmakot, Bhalchour, Jimali, SiddheshoriChande kareni, Marmaparikanda, Badagaon, Kalagaon, Suikot, Mulkhola. There is not any Municipality in  this district. Main residents of this district are Magar, Bramhin, Chhetri, Kami, Sanyasi etc.
