Rolpa District is a district of  Rapti Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Liwang, located in Mid Western Development Region of Nepal. It is situated in the height of 701 meters to 3639 meters from sea level and its area is 1879 square kilometers. Total population of Rolpa district is 224,506 according to census 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in this district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 23948.3 hectare, there are 51 village development committees that are Jhenang, Dubing, Dubidanda, Masina, Jalpokhhari, Ghodagaon, Khungri, mijhing, Tewang, Aresh, Shirp, wodachour, Pang, Gumchal, Hajing, Siuri Gam, Sheram, uwa, Thaweang, Jelwang, Phagam, Jaimaksala, Gajul,Dhawang, Mirul, Khumel, Liwang,Hwama, Jamkot, Kureli, Rangkot, Pachawang, iriwang,Rangsi, Bhawang, Korchawang, Kotgaon, Rak, Talabang, Pakhapani,Jinawang, wot, Ghartigaon, Gairigaon,jugar, Budhagaon, Nuwagaon, Karati, Sakhi, jedwang. There is not any Municipality in this district. Main residents of this district are Magar, Chhetri, Kami, Sanyasi, Damai etc.
