Koshi Zone is a zone of Nepal which is named after the Koshi River. Koshi Zone situated in Eastern Development Region of Nepal. Administrative headquarters of Koshi zone is Biratnagar. Total area of Koshi Zone is 9669 square K.M. Koshi Zone divided into six districts these are Bhojpur, Dhankuta, Morang, Sankhuwasabha, Sunsari and Terhathum. There are 275 village Development Committees and 6 Municipalities in Koshi Zone.
