Kavrepalanchok District is a district of  Bagmati Zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Dhulikhel, situated in Central Development Region of Nepal. Kavre District is situated in the height of 1007 meters to 3018 meters from sea level and its area is 1396 square kilometers. Total population of Kavrepalanchok district is 381,937 according to census of 2068 B.S. (2011 A.D.). Main profession of the residents in Kavrepalanchok district is agriculture. Its agricultural land is 37405 hectare,  there are 87 village development committees that are Bankhu, Budhkhani, Phoksintar, Ghartichhap. There are three Municipalities in Kavrepalanchok district that are called Banepa Municipality, Dhulikhel Municipality and Panauti Municipality. Main residents of this district are Tamang, Bramhin, Chhetri, Newar, Magar etc.
